Divi Shortcodes is a Divi plugin that allows you to add a shortcode of any Divi module or layout inside another module in the Divi Theme. Inside the Divi library, each module, section or layout available will display a new field called “Divi Shortcodes”. With this Divi Plugin, you will be given the ability to copy the Divi shortcode and paste it in any module that has a text section. Now you are able to add sliders, contact forms, blurbs, maps and whatever you want inside tab modules, text modules, code modules, sidebars or any other module that support shortcodes (allows you to add text in the given module).
How it Works:
- Install the Plugin
- Activate the Plugin
- Navigate to the “Divi Library” found in the side WordPress Menu under the Divi Menu Item
-You will now be able to find a column titled “Divi Shortcodes”
- Create a new layout using the Divi Builder or use an existing one
- Paste the Divi Shortcode into any Divi section for the page to appear inside the given Divi section (NEW FEATURE! No with the added copy button you can copy your shortcode with the click of a button)

I converted an old site to Divi and didn’t want to take the time to build each page with the pagebuilder, but needed to add a global section in the middle of the text on several pages so this plugin was the perfect simple – and fast – solution. I did run into an issue with the CSS on the pages where I pasted the shortcode conflicting with the Divi CSS on the page. I was extremely happy to have received a reply when I reached out for support within a very short time. The developer worked with me and I was able to come up with a solution by adding a custom class to my short-coded section.
AWESOME! I was having issues with the H1, etc. in the Full Width Slider, for some reason the new builder was not recognizing the heading customizations in the content box so I created a module in the library then put the shortcode in the content box of the Full Width Slider and BOOM! Perfect. Also used to put a contact form in tabs – I love this plugin, it’s a must-have if your using the Divi theme, I can’t believe I’ve gone all this time without it! Thanks Divi Cake!

Thanks Stephani for the review! We saw this same issue with our own sites and had to find a solution so we built it and now are sharing it with you!
After trying so many Divi shirtcode plugins, I found this one. I was hesitant to try it due to many failures but this is the only plug-in that actually works with Divi without crashing my site.
Because I have an e-commerce, Woo-Commerce was having compatibility issues with the other plugins I tried. Once I tried this one, it worked just fine.
I’m so happy and hope it continues to be uodated. 🙂
