MCP for Divi 5 changelog

Every release, newest first. The current version is 1.0.12, released 28 October 2026. Updates reach your WordPress dashboard while your licence is active.

  1. 1.0.12

    • Browser sign-in (OAuth) now works on sites whose permalinks start with /index.php/, which is common on Windows (IIS) hosting. Before, you could approve the connection, but the AI tool was refused afterwards and reported that the connection failed
  2. 1.0.11

    • Editing a section that holds an accordion no longer fails with an error saying "divi/" is not registered. Some AI tools send a large section as text instead of as a structure, and the plugin read it as empty. It now reads both
    • The same goes for every other tool, so a setting sent as text is read the same way as one sent as a structure
    • A page, section or Theme Builder layout can no longer be saved empty by mistake. When the AI tool sends no layout, nothing is written and the tool is told what was missing
  3. 1.0.9

    • Your AI assistant can now edit pages you already have. It can list your pages, read a page's current layout and change only the part you ask for, instead of rebuilding the whole page
    • Large pages are read and edited one section at a time, and an edit to one section leaves the others exactly as they were
    • It can also duplicate a page as a draft, with its Divi page settings, template and featured image, so you can try a change on the copy before touching the live page
    • The render check now works on pages saved in the Visual Builder. Before, it reported them as broken
  4. 1.0.8

    • If a copied refresh token is used after the AI tool already used it, the connection is revoked and the user signs in again
    • Registering an AI tool is limited: at most 10 redirect URIs and at most 100 tools waiting for their first sign-in at once
    • Signing in from Claude Code works on hosts that answer /.well-known/ addresses themselves, such as SiteGround
  5. 1.0.7

    • When the site has not opted in to issue reports, only an administrator can agree in the chat to send one
    • Divi Marketplace build: issue reports no longer include the Elegant Themes API key saved in Divi's settings
    • A sign-in code or refresh token sent twice at the same moment now works only once
  6. 1.0.6

    • The connect step has a Gemini option, with the steps to add the plugin as a custom app in the Gemini web app
    • The Gemini step shows a short setup video
  7. 1.0.5

    • The code follows the WordPress coding standards, and every database query names the plugin's tables through WordPress's own placeholder
    • Saving the issue reports setting shows its confirmation next to the setting
    • When Divi Cake cannot confirm the site's purchase, a failed issue report says so, instead of saying Divi Cake could not be reached
  8. 1.0.4

    • New tool, d5_report_issue: when a tool lets your AI tool down, it can send Divi Cake a short report of what went wrong, never page content. Turn it on under Issue reports on the licence step; while it is off, your AI tool asks you in the chat first
  9. 1.0.3

    • The connect step shows a short setup video for Claude, and for ChatGPT and Codex
    • The Codex step says that a plugin added in ChatGPT already works in Codex
    • The ChatGPT steps follow ChatGPT's Plugins page, with developer mode only as a fallback
    • Every button on the setup and consent screens shows a spinner while it works
  10. 1.0.2

    • The setup page opens by itself after the plugin is activated
    • The plugin's row on the Plugins screen links to the setup page, and the link says what comes next
  11. 1.0.1

    • Validation looks inside each module and names the fix, including a setting on the wrong element, a value key Divi does not read, a title in the wrong shape, inline-styled HTML the Visual Builder cannot edit, and columns without a width
    • Mistakes with one obvious fix are corrected before the save
    • The render check reports text that did not make it into the page
    • Replacing a page lists the text the previous version had and the new one dropped
    • Authoring guide gains a recipe for recreating a reference design with native modules
  12. 1.0.0

    • First release
    • Build, edit, check and preview Divi 5 pages
    • Presets, variables and global colours
    • Theme Builder templates, headers, footers and body layouts
    • Undo for pages, layouts and design changes
    • Browser sign-in for AI tools, with application passwords as a fallback
