Divi Related Posts Module

Add a Related Posts module to Divi Posts

This is a plugin to add a Related Posts module to the Divi Builder.

It allows you to add a list of Related Posts to any WordPress Post

Your Related Posts can be selected based on matching tags, or matching categories

Related posts are displayed in a list – and you can style it however you like 🙂

Your configuration options:

  • Enter a box heading
  • Set the number of Related Posts to show
  • Set the Related Posts source (by category or by tag)
  • Set the Related Posts order (title, date or random)

== HOW TO USE ==

First install and activate the plugin (see below)

Then open the Divi Builder, and select the Related Posts module

Set the configuration as you want it. You can get Related Posts from either matching tags, or matching categories

Finally, save your page and check the frontend. It should look something like this… (you can change the styling by using the plugin’s included style.css stylesheet)

1. Download the plugin from DiviCake
2. Upload the ZIP file through the ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ screen in your WordPress dashboard
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. There will now be a new “Divi Related Posts” module available to use within the Divi Builder.

  • Does not work in the Divi Theme Builder

When you place this in the Theme Builder it creates the related post in the builder and then uses the same list of posts on all Posts.

  • Excellent support

I bought this plugin to provide navigation for an online course lesson page. I was a bit nervous given the lack of information about the plugin and was initially disappointed to find that the plugin showed all OTHER posts with a specific tag or category, but not the current post, which meant it wouldn’t work for navigation.

But I shouldn’t have worried. When I contacted support to ask them if there was anything I could do to make the plugin work as I intended, within 1 business day they had sent me a custom version, adjusted so that it shows the current post too.

I couldn’t be happier with the plugin and the support provided.
