# Find and replace across every Divi page

Change text, a URL or a phone number in every Divi module at once, with a preview first.

Find and replace searches every attribute of every Divi module on the site, not just the page you have open.

## What you can search for

- Plain text, such as an old company name
- URLs, such as a domain that moved
- Phone numbers

Turn on regex for patterns, or match case when capitals matter. A module type filter keeps the change to one kind of module, for example only buttons.

## Preview, then apply

Nothing changes until you have seen it. The preview lists every match before you apply the change.

Before the change is written, Divi Steward takes a snapshot of every page it touches. If the result is not what you wanted, [roll it back](https://divicake.com/docs/divi-steward/undo-a-change-with-snapshots/).

## Colours have their own tool

For a colour, use the Color Swapper instead. It changes the colour inside modules, in Global Colors and in Global Presets in one go, which find and replace does not reach.
